Amit is a Senior Solicitor with 20 years of experience of conducting litigation in complex cases in both civil and criminal jurisdictions.


Amit specialises in resolving commerial disputes, where disputes arise over contracts, partners and directors, shareholders, property and commercial property, whether acting for the claimant or the defendant. Amit is used to dealing with matters in the Court of Apeal, High Court, the Commerical courts and sometimes in the County Court.


Amit specialises in criminal cases with civil overlap and/or civil component typically in cases such as Carousel / Missing Trader / Contra-trading fraud, large scale money laundering, banking and investment fraud. Amit has often advised on matters involving Directors Disqualification Proceedings as well on regulatory matters arising from allegations of  misconduct.


Amit has represented many professionals including Solicitors, Accountants, celebrities, dentists, pharmacists, doctors, company directors, businessmen, bankers, music promoters, renowned Religious leaders amongst others. Amit represents clients worldwide including in the UK, America, India, the Caribbean and the UAE.


Amit also often acts for ‘victims’ of crime especially in Private Prosecutions and/or as witnesses alongside the Police and the Crown Prosecution Service. Recently, Amit acted successfully on behalf of a renowned religious leader, who was the victim in a sensitive prosecution, which involved an intention to kill a high-profile figure and allegations of sexual impropriety. Amit represented the client to ensure that the client’s reputation and requirements were fully protected in a difficult trial.
